Bloggers Cafe for Bloggers?

I can't believe I haven't post this up! -_-"

Ok, so I went to Blogger's cafe back in May (or maybe March). This little shop located right beside Old town kopitiam in BM.

I'll keep the pictures do the talking and this post would be a short one. Coz I have my "Dorae" (Korean food) coming up next! :D

The oh-so- not-inspiring menu. Please excuse the darkness of the photos. The restaurant environment is so dark in there. -_-"






The menu look a little like Swenson's menu right! LOL! Don't know who copy who..... zzzz....



We only called two main dishes. No water serve to us as they said no water supply. (Don't know what happen!! Maybe the old town kopitiam next door locked their water pipe?! :P )

The only drink we had is Coke. Sien.

Yours truly ordered Seafood Spaghetti...



Big plate, small portion. -_-" I can even count how many meat / seafood there. Sien.

Next up is nasi with chicken rendang.



Not bad, but with the price tag, I can easily get twice the portion elsewhere though...

Overall, I don't really have a good experience here. Maybe because there's no water supply on that day. Oh well.

Kozue Japanese Restaurant @ Gurney Plaza, Penang

By now, I think most of the Penangites know about Kozue Japanese Restaurant @ Gurney Plaza. So there's nothing for me to shout about but only to share what I got from there.



This restaurant located just outside of Maggie T (spot the Pink shop out there!). Kim Gary is also its opposite neighbour, and if your eyes only stuck to Kim Gary like me :P , then you probably missed this Kozue.

Let me show you some ONE blur menu photo. My cam is shaky when it comes to food. :P


I just realized I only got one picture about its menu. -_-

To start off, we ordered the sets (which I think it is more worthy and it comes with little side dishes). And these sets are available during lunch time and dinner time.

I got Kimchi Nabe Set (RM15++) and it comes with a bowl of rice, and some fruits & vege side dishes.

It isn't really sour but overall it tasted okay. It comes with some bacon in it which is something new for me. I didnt know bacon goes well with Kimchi. :P This set does not have any noodles in it. It is more like a "mini steamboat" which comes with some cabbage, bacon, meat and mushrooms.

My good friend ordered Chicken Butter Cheese Set (RM18++).


I noticed it looked different compared to the other food blogger's picture. The cheese on top of the chicken looks pretty small sliced here. :(


The taste? So-so only. The sauce is something like teriyaki sauce. But it is not so tasty unlike the ones I had in

The chicken portion for this Chicken Butter Cheese Set is also quite small. -_-

Here's some side orders we ordered.

This is something new. Something something sandwich. I forgot the name.

And it comes with a cute butterfly deco stuck with it. This sandwich is like a combination of Japanese & Western.

Some barbecued bacon...

Looks nice right? But it doesn't taste as nice as it looks though.





The meat is a little "hard" and it requires some "teeth strength" for it. :P Or maybe I'm old. LOLz!

Overall for a portion like this, I will definitely opt myself in for Kim Gary. I'm a KG (reminds me of KiloGram?! -_-) fan which serves better for my tummy and wallet too!

My Seafood Ramen

Yesterday I didnt have any idea for my dinner and went to search for something to eat in my store room ... and I remembered I had this...




Seafood ramen! From my cousin sis.



I was really hungry at that time and so I thought I would give this a try instead of my usual Tomyam Beehoon.

The written stuff that I only understood the pictures. :P


The so-called ramen...


It comes with a packet of dry veges...


And a packet of seasoning.. I don't recommend pouring all of it into the soup as the taste was a tad salty..


And the ramen (noodles) was really a big portion!

Looks nice right, so many colors. :P

I also added an egg with it, which I thought I can finished it within minutes.


My my, I was wrong! I took about 15 mins to habis-kan this seafood ramen of mine. The soup was a bit spicy though. Veges are okay, but one thing about it was that it doesn't smell or taste like seafood la.. haha.. But anyway, it did satisfy my tummy though!

Anywayz, I still love my Tomyam Bee Hoon! weeeeeeeeeeeeee... :P

Not sure if this is a little too late, as I went to try out their food last Nov'08.

The name is familiar right? It is the same owner as the steamboat buffet restaurant in Tanjung Bungah.

Me and my friend didn't ordered much as we are low in cash. LOL. But still wanted to try them out since their steamboat @ Tanjung Bungah was pretty satisfying.

We both ordered the barley-wintermelon dessert (in Cantonese called "Fu Chuk Yee Mai").

Not bad. But it is a little too sweet though.

The Cantonese fried rice. We ordered this as the picture in the menu looks so decieving.

Not bad. Not too oily. But the portion is quite small. Medium.

The "Sang Mee", we called it crunchy mee.

This one needs more seasoning / salt. A little out of taste. But it taste nice. :) With fresh prawns and fish cutlets. Yumm..

Overall, the service was great, the environment was great, just that the price tag is a little expensive. I will still go for my Kim Gary restaurant if I had the choice to choose.
